Beihu District is located in the south of city Jining, the south of which is Weishan Lake and the north is the old town. The land is flat and open with convenient transportation and unique ecological resources.

“CULTURE”

The planning continues the traditional space characteristics, reproduces the commerce features of the Canal City, roots the city image into urban culture, highlights the role of the Beihu District and realizes the heritage and development of Jining’s splendid culture.

“ECO DISTRICT”

The planning focuses on eco buildings, pleasant scale and urban pattern. We take a series of measures “effective compound, low-carbon transportation, recycling” to encourage bus priority, slow systems, multifunction centers, emphasize the penetration among water, green and city, highlight the characteristics of the North Watertown and create an ecological district.

“DISTRICT IDENTITY”

Combined with well-designed waterfront public space, emphasize the flow and penetration of the building’s interior and exterior spaces, create lively exchange places, activate the mass’ passion and create a vibrant and attractive town center.

First prize was awarded in Jining Beihu CBD Urban Design Competition.
