Site is located in Expo Riverside Cultural Expo business district, which extends the Bund financial belt, supporting with financial intermediation services and foreign financial services, focusing on the development of the investment and financial services.

The key location of the site makes us think especially in the visibility understood in two ways: The visibility of the buildings from the surroundings, especially from the access highway and the bridge and the visibility from the buildings towards the riverside and Pudong Expo site. These two conditions of visibility make the design focus on the idea of having a landmark in the area at the same time as making the architecture open to the views to the South side.

In proposal the relationship between the buildings is very important and the human scale on the lower floors as well. Despite the magnitude and the scale of the main buildings we have made a smaller scale adjacent ones that give a more comfortable feeling for those who are using the space.
