The main administration building features an innovative façade system combining vertical curtain wall striping with articulated decorative columns. This distinctive treatment establishes the building's architectural identity while creating an appropriately dignified presence facing both the civic plaza and the broader urban context.
The curtain wall's rhythmic vertical patterning serves dual purposes:
- Structurally integrating the window system within the building envelope
- Visually reinforcing the masterplan's organizational principles
The auditorium is conceived as a transparent glass volume containing a vibrant red chamber - a symbolic "forum box" at the heart of the complex. Strategic interior illumination transforms the building into a glowing civic lantern after dark, with the outer glass skin visually dissolving to reveal the radiant red core.
This lighting strategy creates a dynamic day-night transformation, allowing the architecture to communicate different aspects of its institutional character: professional transparency by day, and engaged civic vitality by night.
