On the afternoon of March 26, 2015, Dr. Shan Wenhui was invited as a panelist for the lecture titled "Revisiting 'Urban Man': Human-Centered Urbanization", delivered by Professor Leung Hok-lin, Director of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen’s University (Canada) and Senior Advisor to the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Land and Resources.
The lecture marked the inaugural session of the "Cold Ice Forum" hosted by the Fudan University Institute for Advanced Study and the Contemporary China Research Center at Fudan University. Held at Fudan University’s Guanghua Tower, the event was chaired by Professor Liu Jianjun, Director of the Contemporary China Research Center and faculty member at Fudan’s School of International Relations and Public Affairs.
During the session, Professor Leung delivered an insightful presentation on the topic, followed by interactive discussions and commentary from Dr. Shan. The lecture concluded with great success.
